It's a blizzard out there

We are staying in today. It is a blizzard out there. At times we can't see the barn across the street or our wood pile in the back. Natalie made two trips to the wood pile to stock us up for heat today. She was going to go out and pick up some speciality ingredients to make some new breads but not now. Steve isn't even able to work on the Corvette today. It is blowing sideways and the wind is howling. In the meantime, we are enjoying what we can out of today. Natalie will be baking breads and Steve is watching cartoons he got for Christmas.

We ended up with 9 inches of snow!

Natalie baked this Honey White bread today. Steve wants her to make it again when he goes back to work so he can share it with all his office buddies. Steve has also declared that he will never eat store bought bread again. This one is very sweet and not so good for sandwiches but great for a snack or dessert. It came from Natalie's new book "The Everything Bread Cookbook" she got for Christmas from Steve's Mom Pam. Thanks Pam!
