Hit and run

With last nights winter storm, I guess some drivers just couldn't handle it. Around 6:30 PM, we had a hit and run. A car smashed into our fence and hit about 750 pounds of firewood. We retrieved a small piece of their car and reported it to the police. Unfortunately, the chances of anyone fessing up is slim. Though we are pretty sure they live or know someone nearby. Two of our neighbours witnessed it but couldn't get plates. We did get the color, make, and model of the vehicles though (one crashed, the other towed it out).

So today we moved the firewood out of the way and straightened out the fence to the best of our ability. Then we got to re-stack the firewood. Natalie made a snow barrier on one side while Steve poured water on top of the wood so if it happens again, they will hit 750 pounds of solid firewood and ice.
